Sonrise Farm

Sonrise Farm is a small horse farm located in Louisa County in Central Virginia. We are right in between Richmond, Fredericksburg and Charlottesville.

We have 6 horses here at Sonrise Farm.

WhiteStar is my main partner in lesson time.

She is also an amazing therapy horse. WhiteStar is half Quarter Horse, half Thoroughbred/Appaloosa. She and I have logged hundreds of hours with children and adults with autism, cerebral palsy and other challenges.

Dreamsicle  is a part Quarter Horse part Welsh pony (my guess only). He is mostly retired but he is also a wonderful therapy horse for kiddos.

 Scooter is a registered Arabian. I rescued him 8 years ago. He is my speaking partner for my Beautiful Brokenness ministry. He and I filmed our first “real” dvd on Tuesday the 15th of June 2010.

Selah is a Hanoverian and belongs to Mianna, my daughter.

Toby is a Tennessee Walker that a friend of mine rescued last fall. He has been adopted by one of my students.

And finally Caleb, an Appaloosa, belongs to a dear friend.
